Los Angeles, California -- Jason Castro Williams, a filipino amateur superstar who won 3 straight MVP's in the Philippine Basketball League (PBL) and currently playing in the pros for the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He also played as an import for the Singapore Slingers where they achieved to win the Championship and he was awarded as the MVP of the tournament.
Through The Filipino Channel (TFC), many Filipino basketball fans around the world can watch the PBA. Leon Rose, one of the top player agents in the NBA is interested to acquire Jason Castro. "I've seen his taped games from PBL, Singapore Slingers and in the pro-league who was sent by his mom" Rose said. Jason Castro is set to meet Leon Rose in California after the PBA conference in July. "If he's ready to sign up with me, he'll be a shoo-in for the 2010 draft and build his way to workout for the NBA teams." Rose said.
If he made to the NBA, Jason Castro Williams will be the first Filipino player to play in the NBA.
